The Cerna is actively involved in teaching. We are in charge of three of the majors at Mines-ParisTech: Industrial Economics, Law & Economics and Quantitative Finance. We also participate in teaching economy and finance to the undergraduates through thereof the core courses (Introduction to economics, Macro-economics, Economic calculations) and five elective subjects (Industrial economics, Introduction to market economics, Project finance, Stochastic processes & Globalisation of the world economy). In addition, the Cerna also gives four courses to the engineers in training for the Corps Techniques d’Etats ( Public goods and world governance, Research & innovation, Corporate strategy and Market finance serving companies ), as well as supervising final year projects for some of these engineers. With the CEP, another research center at Mines-ParisTech, the Cerna is in charge of the professional Masters Course Energy Strategies.
Finally members of the Cerna lecture in postgraduate courses in the following programs: Master of Economics of Sustainable Development, of the Environment and of Energy (EDDEE), the Masters Course Managing risk in finance & insurance at the University of Paris X- Nanterre, the Master of Engineering and Management of the Environment (IGE), the Masters Course Transport and Sustainable Development (TRADD) and the CFSG and the CESPROMIN postgraduate courses. In addition we give a course on European policy of competition at the Boalt School of Law at Berkeley University.
